The Worxlab was being worked on for years before I finally flicked the switch. And the Allen & Heath Xone:96 was one of the first I worked on.
The mixer was perfect for my obsessively detailed work ethic. And it definitely tested my abilities, and over time developed my style in leaps and bounds.
But now after many revisits to the illustration, it’s finally finished.
This was the greatest challenge I’ve had to date. So many controls, ports, and markings. And don’t get me started on colour matching.
To make things simple, this is a limited run of 50 x A2 prints, reproduced at full size in full colour.
It’s in the shop today.
Not only that, it’s such a camera-friendly beast that it was the perfect subject to expand on my ASPECTS range. Six new prints, 12″ square, produced in runs of 50, and yours for a new price of £75 each. Grounded, Filter, HAL, Switch, Send, and Grapes and in the shop today.
In time for Christmas?
Highly unlikely — it’s posted now because I promised myself before the end of the year.
Also, it’s late in the day for Christmas deliveries, especially outside of the UK. So if you do choose to order, I might be able to despatch but make no guarantees about getting to you on time. Indeed, with the final week of Christmas approaching and the insanity that goes with it, I’d rather wait until the new year to ship anything,
That said, if one of these is the absolute perfect pressie and you’re in the UK, drop me a line and I might be able to work something out. T’would be a beautiful thing to open on Christmas morning. Definitely better than socks or aftershave.
