The Vestax PMC-07Pro is the mixer that the cool guys had. It’s the one you wanted more than anything. Even now, you still want it.
Description
Building on the success of the PMC-05Pro mixer, the Vestax PMC-07Pro took that foundation and added all the features pro scratch DJs were asking for.
Every fader got a curve and a reverse and all were easily replaceable too. The infamous credit card mod was still a thing though. Vestax fixed that in later iterations of their mixers and even produced the CLS-1 rubber stopper kit.
The three-band EQ is notable for being small faders, something that was replicated on the Allen & Heath Xone:02 and Rodec Scratch box. I can’t recall it appearing since, even on Vestax products.
The Vestax PMC-07Pro still gives people the fondest of memories and scratch DJs gravitate to them when they see them. Indeed, some people still use them today, and are readily available, albeit for an arm and a leg on eBay.
